DOSE-GARD®

The DOSE-GARD® Emergency Responder Electronic Alarming Dosimeter is designed to protect emergency response personnel from excessive exposure to ionizing radiation during any radiological emergency. DOSE-GARD® is compact and easy to use, ruggedized for hostile work conditions, and affordable for deployment to all responders.

The DOSE-GARD® monitors exposure in rem, displays the current dose, and alarms (audible and visible) when a user-selected alarm point is reached. It may be fully operated manually, or interfaced to a computer via infrared connection for automated exposure management and record-keeping.

Designed for first responders and emergency personnel including fire fighters, police officers, WMD, CBR, NBC teams, bomb squads, HAZMAT teams, EMS, EMT’s, military, and nuclear plant support and response services.

DOSE-GARD® provides extremely accurate and responsive exposure measurements using the proprietary General Atomics Radiation Detector (GARD).

SICD

The Self-Indicating Cumulative Dosimeter is designed for military or similar applications. SICD will accurately and reliably measure and record the high levels of radiation exposure to personnel associated with any catastrophic radiological event, including nuclear weapons detonation.

The SICD is the ultimate in simplicity – it records and displays only high levels of exposure
(>1 rem) and cannot be reset or modified by the user. The battery is good for the life of the dosimeter 5- 10 years in normal use.
